Chapter 1 Running Gone Bad

All Men On Deck!! Shouted the captain I realized it wasn’t morning yet so I figured something must be wrong, I quickly Pulled on My Brown Pants, My white’ n ’blue  sailor shirt, & my Boots. Then I Ran Up The cellar stairs went through the kitchen, & up another set of stairs to the deck. When I reached the top I could see what was wrong, our ship was being attacked by pirates.

I went back to my room quickly gathered as much as I could of my belongings, then ran to the kitchen & borrowed a few apples & bread, then I quickly but quietly ran up the stairs & snuck to the dingy. About the time I was in & loaded a pirate boy was running after me, but I just kept on loading up,& then a terrible pain on my head, & another & another-

Suddenly, I was in a cellar room of a pirate ship I lay there rubbing my head, where I figured the pirate boy had knocked me unconscious, when I wasn’t looking. I just lay there & thought about how if I wouldn’t have ran away, I wouldn’t have a knot on my head, but what is done, is done.

Weeks & weeks passed by, I had saw no life except for the food, until one day someone knocked on my cellar door hard, “Bang, Bang, Bang!!!”  I was very surprised when finally I heard a voice say one minute sir, I found the key. My  door flung open & to my surprise it was a young man about 6’ feet 4in. & about 19, 20 yrs old. “Hello, what do you need” I said, not thinking, the man replied saying“, nothing from you, except for good work, so I knew I was to be a slave, & not killed.
